Have you heard of the American Council on Renewable Energy? I had not. This is a group energy engineers should at least be aware of and perhaps follow closely. You may be an employee of a member organization.
ACORE members are corporations who have an interest in energy that arrives on its own with no infrastructure failure points like we are seeing today, even in a time of abundant supply. Many are Fortune 500 companies.
In 2018 they issued a paper pointing out the national security benefits of energy that arrives on its own. This group came to my attention when I was looking for an explanation of the national security benefits of fuel-free solar and wind energy.

The next free webinar will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2026. The topic is energy supply for New England. Renewables were criticized as worthless during winter storm Fern earlier this year. This webinar will explore the benefits of renewables in New England’s energy supply.
